
Clifford (Cliff) Kyle, CSC
General Manager
Cliff is the General Manager of Sikorsky Australia (a Lockheed Martin company) located in Yerriyong, on the south coast of NSW. Cliff was appointed to this role in Oct 2022 and prior to this, was the MH-60R ‘Romeo’ Through Life Support (TLS) Program Manager.
Cliff served in the Royal Australian Navy Fleet Air Arm for more than 23 years and is a graduate of the Australian Defence Force Academy. As an Aerospace Engineer in the Navy he held numerous leadership positions in aviation operations, engineering, quality and aviation safety. Cliff worked throughout his career on the legacy S-70B-2 aircraft seeing its retirement from service and the introduction into service of the MH-60R aircraft. His last RAN posting was leading the MH-60R Joint Program Office located in Patuxent River, Maryland USA, charged with capability development for the aircraft over the next three decades.
Cliff holds an Honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering from UNSW, a Master of Aerospace Vehicle Design from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom and a Master of Management from RMIT. Cliff holds Chartered Engineer status on the National Engineering Register. His Conspicuous Service Cross (CSC) was awarded in 2012 for his service as the Engineering Officer at 816 Squadron, HMAS Albatross.
Cliff is married with three daughters and in his spare time enjoys staying fit, fishing and supporting the mighty Brisbane Broncos National Rugby League team.
